Why "SWINK®" instead of traditional sinks?

Wood is a trending material nowadays, due to its aesthetic, natural appearance. It is an Eco-friendly material as well because it's biodegradable. We believe that there are more than one reason for using wood instead of the traditional materials, wood gives warm vibes in any space around your home; wood is a renewable material with less impact on the environment compared to other materials; wood has a longer lifetime when treated properly, compared to many other materials; wood can be recycled and reused for different purposes instead of burning, which helps reducing Carbon emissions; wood also has a positive effect on physical and mental health.  

From WOOD to "SWINK®"

"SWINK®" is made of hardwood which is lightweight but durable and strong, and totally handcrafted by highly skilled workers. We start by selecting the best quality and the right piece of wood, our creative designers start the artwork from here, and then we shape it according to the ordered design. 

"SWINK®" is a waterproof and resistant to acids, we fill up the veins of wood by natural coating material. Then, we apply few layers of coating of water proof natural material, this ends up with extra 3 - 4 mm of coating layer on the wooden surface. So, it is well treated and can last longer than lifetime which reduces the energy used for reproduction.

Some like it shiny with additional layer of EPOXY.
